What is meant by veal?
When we at A‑Key offer veal from the EU, it means meat from young cattle that are raised and slaughtered in accordance with the EU's common regulations for animal welfare, food safety and traceability.
The classification is age-based, and the products we deliver come from animals that are younger than 8 months.
For the consumer, this means that the meat:
comes from young animals
is produced according to harmonised EU requirements
has a consistent and predictable quality
